Alice Campbell

School Caro Assembly of God

Ms Alice is my mother. She has been teaching Sunday School for over 20 years. In fact, at 77 years old, she is still teaching the middlers. This is a very difficult class to teach and to be teaching at 77 years old when she could be enjoying her retirement is quite a sacrifice. Every holiday, Ms. Alice makes sure that every child goes home with a special little present. The kids that come through Ms. Alice's class have the Ten Commandments memorized along with the books of the Bible and the 23rd Psalm. She does so many nice things for the kids. There was a child whose Dad had to go to jail for 90 days. Ms. Alice kept in contact with the dad. I know this because I saw a "thank you" note on her kitchen table from this man whose wife moved away and left him with the three kids. Another example, one of Ms. Alice's kids had a brain tumor. Ms. Alice kept in constant contact with the child. She sent her gifts, cards and most of all, her fervent prayers. Ms. Alice deserves this special honor. Ms. Alice buys all of her own classroom supplies due to the class not being able to afford supplies. Therefore, Ms. Alice could also benefit from this honor. Please find her years of dedication and sacrifices worthy of the Appreciation Award. Thank you very much.
