I have been in the nursing program now for 2 years, Dr. Sanders has been the only teacher who has taken the initiative to make sure his students ARE learning. He has been one of the fairest teachers I have known. At any time during class, if you didn't understand something, he would never make you feel like an idiot, he would explain until he knew you understood totally. He has many degrees besides teaching and was not unusual for him to share many of his lifes experiences with us in a teaching manner. If students failed, it was not because he didn't try, it was because they wanted to. He was always available for tutoring or questions if needed. What a wonderful man and great asset to Davenport University.
