I have always been very proud of my daughter Jacki. She is a wonderful person with a good heart for children. She is very dedicated as a teacher and has a heart for each of her students. She has been a teacher for over ten years with the Flint School System. I hope you would consider her for this honor. Thank you

Jacki Holleman is my sister....she has been working for the Flint Schools for many years as an elementary teacher. To say she is an amazing teacher would not be saying enough. Since she was a very young girl she new she wanted to be a teacher, she has always loved children. She tried for many years to have her own children, finally after 7 years she found out the wonderful news that she was expecting only to be devasted weeks later when she miscarried. But, God blessed her months later with another preganancy and she now has 2 children.....through all of the personal trials of her own life she has never given up on loving the children that enter the door way of her classroom. She has taught many kids that come from some really tough back grounds. Broken homes, parents in prison, or worse yet, dead. Many of her students are being raised by other extended family members. Some of the stories she has shared over the years that her students have gone through really break you heart, so I can only imagine how she has felt when she sees these things on a daily basis. But, through it all, she has remained an awesome teacher. She has not lost her ability to love her students and be a great role model as well. To say she deserves to be honored is putting it mildly. I sincerely hope you consider her for this priveledge
