Mrs. Person is a true angel. She has blessed our family so much by loving and caring so much for our son, Jack, in her kindergarten class. She is the best teacher we have ever encountered. She prays for her students regularly, individually, asking the Lord to bless each and every one of them and strengthening their gifts. She encourages her students to be kind and thoughtful, and most importantly to walk in the Lord's shoes each day. Mrs. Person is such a patient person. She has worked thoughtfully with Jack, understanding him and his needs (he has sensory integration issues), and loving him all the way through. She has helped build his self-esteem, has loved him unconditionally, taught him with her whole heart. We have been so very blessed to have her with Jack in kindergarten both last year and this year.

She approached us mid-year last year to tell us she recommended we keep Jack in another year of kindergarten to allow him to "grow." We fought it at first, but really prayed on her suggestion to determine what was best for Jackie. We are so glad we allowed him another year with Mrs. Person! She sees beautiful characteristics in our child that are sometimes easy to "lose" as a parent. She has continued to encourage us, as parents, to work with Jack in certain ways in order to really bring out his God-given gifts. He is such a blessing, and His gifts have shone so much brighter because of his precious time with Mrs. Person! She is truly a remarkable lady!

We feel so blessed to be able to have her another year for our son Alex next year. What a great gift that will be, too!
