Mr. Roger Farris

Mr. Roger Farris has been teaching at New Lothrop HIgh School for over 30 years. I know it's been that long because my mom had him too and he is just as great a teacher now as he was then. Mr. Farris is a very smart man. He teaches all of the really hard classes like Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Math and Calculus. These are serious subjects but he is still able to make the classes interesting and fun. Such as when he dresses up like a nerd and brings his pet mole (puppet) to class.
Mr. Farris also shares his knowledge by teaching classes at a area college. He is a very busy man. Additionally, Mr. Farris is very involved in activities that challenge and reward students. He is the head of the Honor Society and he spends lots of time with the Quiz Bowl team. He always has the students best interest in mind and is there to be sure we succeed.
