My son is no angel. He actually has been pretty difficult for teachers historically. He has hated school since the day he walked in to Kindergarten. This year he has Ms. Shepler and she is always so positive and encouraging with him there has been a huge difference in his attitude towards school. He enjoys going to schools and is doing better scholastically than he ever has.
Communication with teachers in the past has been frustrating because there is either none at all or it only comes when things have come to a head after months of issues. Ms. Shepler keeps in constant contact with me which helps to stop issues before they even happen. She is always available by e-mail or phone and ready to help in any way she can.
She makes being the single parent of a pre-teen son a little bit easier and I thank God for her every day:-)
